Each month we gather for respectful, open, honest, healthy and sometimes uncomfortable conversations about racism, addressing discriminatory practices, policies, beliefs and attitudes within ourselves, the Durham Region community and surrounding communities.
Our July topic is Human Trafficking.
Human trafficking remains a prevalent problem across the globe. How can we spot a person who is being trafficked and when we identify them how can we safely help them? We will have a guest speaker to help us understand the issues.
Everyone is welcome and admission is free but registration is required.
