Each month we gather for respectful, open, honest, healthy and sometimes uncomfortable conversations about racism, addressing discriminatory practices, policies, beliefs and attitudes within ourselves, the Durham Region community and surrounding communities.
Everyone is welcome and admission is free but registration is required.
April – Dynamics of Diversity
What is diversity and how can we honour the plethora of sometimes overlapping identities of people who live in Durham Region and seek out agencies for assistance. Although in an hour and a half we can only scratch the surface of identifying identities, the goal of this month’s session is to add to the conversation while hopefully adding terms and resources to your repertoire.
