Durham Community Foundation’s annual Walk for YOUR Cause, provides local charities, nonprofits, and businesses with the ability to raise funds for their favourite cause in support of our community. This year our walk is virtual and our CJA Durham pledge form can be requested at aisenor@cjadurham.org Any amount helps and tax receipts are available for any donation over $20.00.
On Sunday, October 18, 2020, we will kick start the Walk for YOUR Cause via our Facebook page (DurhamCF) by profiling the organizations that participants are walking to raise funds for in our community. Throughout the week we encourage you to share stories about your cause and photos from your favourite walk route so we can all rediscover the neighbourhoods that make our region a great place to live. Please tag @CJADurham as you walk in your neighbourhood.
On Sunday, October 25, 2020, we will connect live via Facebook at 11:00 am so we can share the stories of the charities and non-profits that are making a difference in our community.
